PostSubject: Asuka vs Hayate   3/21/2014, 12:37 pm

Asuka looked around...her eyesight was fairly blurry, like she had just woken up from being unconscious. Where was she?

Asuka looked up into the sky, clear and sunny, much unlike Amegakure. Was this it..? The fabled Village Hidden in the Leaves? Asuka walked around the village, and it was beautiful. If Amegakure had an ally like this, it'd be unstoppable.

"I like this village and all, but how the heck did I get here? I remember going to sleep...maybe this is some sort of dream...but everything feels so damn realistic."

Shadows...shadows were everywhere. If she needed to fight, it would be a good place for her to use Shadow Manipulation. Even though the village was beautiful, it was barren, and in her sights was a boy, about her age. He must've been the ccause of this.

"HEY, YOU! FIGHT ME!"

Waking up in an unknown place is usually a bad indication that you have either been kidnapped you you had far too much to drink the night prior. Seeing as Hayato didn't drink, his arrival in this new land made little sense to him. He awoke in Konoha and had no idea how he arrived in such a place. He didn't see any people around anywhere, like somebody dumped him off alone.

The Genin still had his sword on his back, so he wasn't robbed. That itself was a relief to the teen. He began to explore and look around for any sight of people. Hayato leaped onto a tall rooftop to look around when he suddenly heard a voice shout at him saying "HEY, YOU! FIGHT ME!"

Looking down, he noticed a girl younger than him talking. The swordsman had certainly never fought a female, so this was an odd request, despite his love of combat. It was noon and the sun was directly above the two, causing their shadows to be under their feet. "And why would I wanna do that?" asked the fighter as he sat on the ledge of the rooftop.

Honestly, Asuka had no time for the questions. This guy was probably the person who brought her here, so she wouldn't be offering any explanations. She looked at the man, chilling on a rooftop, and began formulating a plan of attack.

I wanna rush in...but what if I land into a trap? That'll be unfortunate, and then my legend will end right there! And II won't let that happen!

"Look...I don't know who the hell you are, but I know you're responsible for me being stuck in an unfamiliar, but beautiful village. I'm glad I'm away from all the poverty and sorrow Amegakute carries, but at the same time...I promised myself I'd fix it...so..."

Asuka formed five handseals, her movements so fast that not even a punch could disrupt them. In a puff of smoke, several copies of Asuka were created.

"My name is Asuka Nara, and my dream is to become the next Amekage...and nothing will get in my way, BELIEVE IT!"

The three clones and Asuka shouted "Yeah!" in unison, fist bumping each other. However, the jutsu was taxing on Asuka, as it was a rather high level jutsu. Creating that many clones was very chakra heavy, and most of the clones had much lower chakra reserves then she did due to the nature of the technique.

"Time to wipe you off the map! Here's my ultimate jutsu!"

Each of the clones, and Asuka made about five handseals, and in front of each of the clones, a tornado of dust, wind, and petals formed.

"Here it goes, girls! Super Secret Technique: So Many Petals!"

Each of them fired tthe Wind Release: Flower Scattering Dance towards the boy, making sure the tornados did not collide with each other. It was pretty unlikely he would escape due to the numerous amounts of Tornados, but unfortunately, there was always a way.

Listening to the girl as she spoke, she mentioned Amegakute and Hayato placed his right foot on a lower ledge beneath his legs while his leg leg continued to dangle. The warrior was listening curiously to her response to him asking why he should even bother with fighting her. She began to weave hand seals,so it was obvious she knew some jutsu, which meant she could be a threat. The swordsman kept his eyes on her exact location and prepaired to move at any time. Shadow clones suddenly appeared, which made the warrior smile "Oooh, that's why." he smiled. There were three clones and the original, he knew if he could take out the real one then they would all vanish, so he made a mental note of the location of the original's position.

The girl introduced herself as Asuka Nara and continued to talk. Hayato hated when people talked too much, so he rested his arm on his right knee until she was finished nagging. The clones all made five hand seals, this caused his eyes to widen. By studying ninjutsu, he learned about elemental abilities and immediately knew some form of wind ability was about to be launched at him from each copy of this red headed girl. So pressing his right foot against the ledge, Hayato flipped back using the momentum of the flip to perform continuous back-flips at the same moment the girl shouted "Here it goes, girls! Super Secret Technique: So Many Petals!" and four tornados were shot at the teen.

Luckily these girls were standing on one side of the building, when there were four in total. It didn't make sense to him why they didn't surround the building and fire from all four angles of it, but he would use this oversight to his advantage. He flipped off of the back of the building, opposite of where Asuka and her clones were standing while avoiding her attacks as they striked his previous location. The tornados colliding with the rooftop caused a huge amount of dust and debris to surround the area while the building crumbled, providing a temporary cover for Hayato to be undetected. While falling towards the ground, the swift shinobi focused his chakra in order to activate his Earth Release: Hiding Like a Mole Technique in order to sink into the ground undetected while the building crashed down. The ground then returned to its original state, leaving no trace of where the user entered the earth.

There were multiple enemies that had no idea he was under their noses, literally. It was time to play some whac-a-mole. Rising out of the ground rapidly with a multitude of slashes from his sword, Hayato attempted to kill each clone by popping out of the ground behind each one, sending several swift slashes their way, then going back underground. All while purposely not attacking the original Asuka. These series of attacks were performed while dust and debris from the destroyed building still surrounded the area and it would be difficult for any of them to see. After attempting those attacks, the warrior sunk his body back underground before the dust finally cleared. Hayato had been careful during his attacks and made sure the ground returned to its original state each time he came to the surface and returned underground, leaving no trace of where the user entered the earth.

It was time to stop warming up and fighting seriously. Dust and debris covered his escape, and at first Asuka thought she had dealt with the problem. But the moment she got the information back that her clones were being killed, it was time to get serious. Forming four handseals, Asuka shot out a gust of wind that easily cleared away the dust. Her tornado was currently dispersed, having lived past it's usefulness. From what information her clones gave Asuka before there time of death, he was currently hiding underground, so Asuka would need to be on her guard.

Okay...I can easily figure out where he went from my clones memories.

But, nothing came from her. All she knew was they died, but not where the swordsman was.

"This is such a pain in the ass...I knew I should've killed you, you little silly swordboy."

Asuka sighed, again forming four handseals. It would be silly shooting out attacks while her opponent was nowhere in sight, but, Asuka wasn't planning an attack. Instead, she was storing the jutsu for future use.

"Look, if you give up now, I promise your death will be quick and painless...unless that thing about living a few seconds after decapitation is true. I hope not.."

Although Asuka would look like an easy target with her slouched position and her hands in her pocket, she was currently very alert, waiting for the opportunity to strike. The jutsu she stored was apart of her clan jutsu, called the Shadow Sewing Technique. These tentacles were aable to eeasily pierce through an opponent, and as soon as she saw him, it would be over.

Although...an attack from behind is always possible. How annoying..I gotta be ready ..

Asuka ran towards a building, leaping onto it, and perching on the building, her jutsu still ready.

Rising out of the ground once again, the swordsman looked up at the building that the girl was perched on. He looked up at her as the last of the dust cleared and revealed his location. He had heard her offer of a quick death in exchange for a quick death. He scoffed at the idea of this girl killing him, then an idea suddenly struck the warrior...

"Yeah, alright. I give up. Come down here and kill me." the shinobi called out. He was baiting her to come down and get close to him. It was obvious she was a ranged fighter, so getting her close and performing a sneak attack would be his best bet. However, he kept his sword in his hand, he refused to let it go. "Oh, don't mind this. I just have a religion where if you die with a weapon in your hand, then you get to an afterlife filled with endless battles and root beer." he lied, very convincingly.

The warrior stood in place and kept his eyes on the girl to see her next reaction.

Asuka sighed. It was so very obvious that he was baiting her, as no ninja would just give up like that...but for some reason, her heart told her to get closer, even if she wasn't the best close combat fighter in the world.

God fucking damm it, I'm gonna regret this, aren't I?

Hopping of the building, and landing on the ground with a PAT! sound, Asuka stared at her opponent.

Why am I even listening to him? Am I this fucking stupid..?! Well, you only live once! CHA!

"Do you think, that I'm stupid enough to fall for your tricks?"

Asuka was running full speed at the weapon specialist, when she activated her jutsu that she was storing.

Shadow Sewing Technique!

Digging her boots into.the ground, Asuka came to a complete stop, about ten meters in front of her opponent. Forming four handseals yet again, Asuka extended her shadow out towards the shadow of the boy, and smirked.

"What you don't know, you stupid little asshat, is that you're body is already dead. You're brain has yet to realize it...don't you remember that dust? It was impossible for you not to inhale it, and so the paralyzing process will begin now.."

However, there was no such technique that the Nara had like the one she just described, however, Asuka could lie like a snake. She just wanted the jutsu she was using to land. Since they were in such close range, it would probably be difficult to dodge.

If her jutsu were to connect, then the male would be stuck, and a shadow would creep up to his neck, taking the form of a hand, and eventually, strangle the life out of him. It was truly a beautiful process.

Holy shit! It actually worked! The girl hopped down and landed approximately fifteen meters away. "Do you think, that I'm stupid enough to fall for your tricks?" she asked while staring at the swordsman. Hayato smirked while still gripping his sword.

“Yeah, dumb bitch.” He laughed. She didn’t seem to take a liking to that comment as she suddenly charged him, which was surprising. Hayato formed a large grin was ready for combat, if she wanted to fight up close, he was happy to oblige. The swordsman stood in place with a calm exposure on his overall appearance. Even though Hayato never fought a girl before, he wasn’t afraid to cut one who shot four tornados at him. He hadn’t laid a finger on the girl yet, because he honestly didn’t want to hurt her at first. But now that she was talking shit about murdering him, he felt it was time to let those conflicted feelings go.
I couldn’t resist xD:

Suddenly the girl stopped in her tracks as she dug her boot in the ground about ten meters away and began to form hand seals. Too bad, Hayato was really looking forward to a close encounter with the female. Her shadow swiftly expanded out from under her and towards the teen. He didn’t like this, he had no idea what that thing could do, and he didn’t plan to find out. Luckily the girl had been far away enough to give the weapons specialist had enough time to simply sink back underground through the hole he was standing above the entire time. She began to say something he could only interpret as muffled words that sounded like rust and Paris lights or something. Whatever it was, he honestly didn’t care. His main focus was on the approaching shadow and what it could do, luckily it couldn’t reach him due to him closing the hole above himself.

Traveling underground, Hayato arose behind the Konoha hospital about thirty meters to the left of where Asuka was standing. He made sure to show up where she couldn’t see him. The sly fighter focused his chakra through his feet and jumped on the side of the hospital then smashed the largest window in with the hilt of his sword, which would probably be heard by his opponent, and then sheathed the blade on his back. He quickly grabbed a handful of broken glass, with about sixty shards in total stacked neatly in the palm of his hand. The fighter then jumped back into the ground and sunk underneath it, closing the hold behind him.

The user of this particular jutsu can also sense what is happening on the surface and use that information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy. So, popping up underground and looking at the current location of the girl and her shadow from a safe distance away, where he would also be undetected; Hayato formulated a plan. The weapon specialist began to use his whac-a-mole technique to pop up in random locations around the girl and out of range of her shadow’s location in order to throw the shards of glass at her like he would throw shuriken and then sank back into the ground in order to repeat the process. If she were to move or dodge, he would throw the glass at her next location. He was careful each time to make sure the shadow wasn’t even close to him each time he had risen up. He continued this process until he ran out of glass to throw. Hayato was extra cautious with making sure that he returned each hole he sunk back into back to its original state, leaving no trace of where the user entered the earth. Also, making sure the shadow couldn’t follow him underground.

Whenever he ran out of the improvised projectiles, he quickly went back underground and closed up the hole behind himself. There he remained to observe the situation from underground. From all the random angles and rapid flow of events, it would be unlikely that the girl dodged or blocked everything sent her way.

Asuka was getting rather exhausted, which was unfortunate, since this guy was playing the long range game right now. Currently, he was underground, so Asuka didn't have a clue where he was. Out of nowhere, a shard of glass struck her in the arm, reminding Asuka that she needed to stay alert, and be careful of his sneak attack.

Fine...he can play this game if he wants.

Ready for another one, Asuka spun out of the way of the next, but the third shard slice her leg. Dodging obviously wouldn't work forever, so Asuka needed to come up with a plan before she bled to death. Frowning, she analyzed the battlefield, turning around, walking, and being on her absolute guard. The next time he sprouted up from the ground, Asuka was ready, catching him through her peripheral vision, and formed four handseals before a punch could even be thrown, and exhaled a sphere of swirling air.

The jutsu, although small and only the size of Asuka's fist, was very fast and capable of punching through stone. The jutsu would already be in motion by the time he reached the fullest extent of his jump, and even if it somehow didn't catch him, it would easily be able to deflect the shard
