PostSubject: Tetsu vs. Arashi   4/21/2014, 7:01 am

So he stood, awaiting his opponent, it was going to be death battle costing the loser his life in the most gruesome, horrific, and it will probably be incredibly gory. Tetsu Kokku didn't mind a fight to the death, after all, that was what it meant to be a ninja right? The sky was clear and the sun was out, boasting it's glorified warmth and brightness to the world around Tetsu. He had been called out to this fight, unsure of his opponent's fighting style, he waited patiently for his arrival. "This is the correct meeting point right? So why is this guy so late?" Tetsu continued to wait patiently as he examined the scenery around him.

Spoiler:

It was a magnificent view, the likes of which Tetsu had never seen before. How had he never heard of this place? It was desolate but the view was magnificent, decently sized plateaus and cliffs all over the place, the area was covered in a ton of water but the strangest thing is that the water was not blue or clear, it was green. Not a nasty, swampy green, a crisp clear green. It was fresh, flowing water. Clean, but it was green? It was odd. On top of that, the sky was green as well! And the grass blue. It's like things had been mirrored, the sight was amazing but it was something one wouldn't believe if it hadn't been seen by his own two eyes. The trees were tall and skinny with what seemed to be a perfect ball of blue leaves right at the top. This place was indeed extraordinary, but now was not the time to be taken aback. He had to focus on the task at hand and that was the fight that was about to arise, as soon as this guy got here that is. Tetsu was growing tired of waiting. He placed his hands in the hand seal of ram and began molding chakra. He was simply meditating as he waited for his opponent to make his appearance. This meditation would help him calm his nerves and his thoughts so that he could think clearly and efficiently during the battle. A good mentality is what wins the battle.

How exactly the retired Shinobi had managed to get to this place that was the striking image of something that was once seen on television, usually called tv in a series called Dragonball Z, if the Naruto Universe actually had Dragonball Z on TV nonetheless. The matter at hand though was the fact that the green planet, due to the unusually large amounts of water lurking around with the blue grass and the tasty scenery was indeed the location of a little battle. Why exactly there was going to be a battle of sorts was beyond the grasp of any non-infinite being such as humans and along with that the means of travelling to such an ominously magnificent place were veiled by the mist of the supernatural.

As such, there was no need to bother oneself any longer with talk about things that cannot be understood and in turn it is far better to get to the actual point, just like Arashi who was walking straight towards the rendezvous point that was located neatly on a larger terrain. Though that terrain which was to become a battlefield was indeed shaped quite neatly and befitting for a battle, as it carried a certain sense of an arena with cliffs scaling up punctually around a blue grassed area which happened to have some dead spots – which would be places where there is none of the blue grass. In the perimeter of about one hundred and fifty meters there were a few smaller hills that were enough to grant a little bit of higher ground though an irrelevant one.

The veteran was, as stated before, walking towards a point, facing his enemy, as he approached in a calm and reserved manner. The most striking part about the veteran was, without doubt, the fact that he was carrying a cane with him and absolutely apparently required it to walk remotely fast, as he shifted his weight between a completely healthy left leg and a seemingly ‘damaged’ right leg which did not bend properly as would be normal when walking. Rather it hardly bent when moved, but was more of a straight line that was quite ungracefully heaved forward while shifting one’s body weight.

Whatever the case, the veteran was now a good thirty meters away from his enemy who apparently was by far younger than the old shinobi. The boy appeared to have formed a handsign, perhaps with the intent to prepare a jutsu before the battle had even started, or eventually it was just a bit of molding chakra that was involved there. Nonetheless, the veteran talked out loud towards the boy. ”Good day to you, my honourable enemy. I hope you do not mind fighting against an old and crippled man and don’t think too much of me simply because of my age. A fight with everything one has got would perhaps be ideal and eventually that would grant us freedom from this realm in which he have been placed for the mere performance of our Shinobi duties. My name is Arashi, by the way.” As he was talking, the old man had placed his walking cane in front of him on the ground, well rather one end since he did indeed require the cane to walk properly. His hands were laid upon another, though hardly noticeably he had performed a single short handsign during shifting the cane and his hands touching. The attentive observer would have noticed such, though while listening to the talk of the veteran such a non-obvious movement could easily be overlooked.

Underestimating opponents is one thing Tetsu Kokku will not do, but this? He was an old man, he walked with a limp needing a cane! What is this madness? How is he to fight someone who can barely walk? Tetsu released his handseal which had no intent towards a jutsu, it was simply a meditation factor to help him keep calm but now he was a bit more flustered than before. "Is this a joke? Are you sure your capable of this?" Tetsu spoke with utmost concern, he didn't want to hurt some poor old man, it was against his nature. "Look, we don't have to figh..." Tetsu stopped before finishing his words as his eyes twitched at the sight of the man performing a handseal. He quickly prepared himself for battle, the man may appear to be an old helpless man but one can never tell of the hidden potentials of a person, this is why Tetsu never underestimates his opponents. It's too easy to find that one guy that merely bluffs his weakness. "Arashi huh?" Tetsu spoke with interest this time, he wouldn't be fighting this man if the man weren't capable and for a second, Tetsu HAD in fact taken that for granted. "I'm Tetsu, pleased to meet ya!" Again, he spoke with interest only this time more enthusiasm. He performed a hand seal as a single clone appeared at his side. The two were perfectly identical and both capable of inflicting heavy damage upon the old man. Tetsu was ready for anything old man would throw at him, atleast, so he thought. Their was no telling what the old man would throw at him. Tetsu and the clone both removed their hoods simultaneously revealing their bright blue hair. Now it was a matter of seeing what the old man would do, and Tetsu was getting somewhat into this. Now it wasn't just a matter of just waiting and seeing what he could do, Tetsu was intrigued and wanted to see it, he couldn't wait in fact. The clone began stepping forward, the first step somewhat slowly but following the first step was that of a run. As Tetsu's clone quickly approached Arashi, his hands came together forming hand signs at a rapid pace, following said hand signs, the clone formed a circle around his lips and exhaled forming a large fireball, the likes of which was heading directly towards Arashi from the front. The clone would then jump Arashi's left side as he waited for the man's move.

Tetsu = 380 CR
Clone = 197.5? Not sure if it would round up or down or just go with the .5

It was just as the old man had anticipated of such a young one. Obviously experience was something that could grant the upper hand in a battle of equals or near equals, but – and such is the way it simply is – the young one definitely had a distinct advantage of the old veteran. In turn, the retired shinobi was uncertain of how to battle most efficiently as this battle was not without danger. The young boy, at first reluctant to accept the situation at hand though quickly realizing that the old man would not simply back down under the circumstances he was put or due to his handicap, but as the young one hand grasped the preparation of the jutsu which the old man had done somewhat too obviously for it to really have been hidden, the boy changed his mindset quickly and repeated the name of the old man with a somewhat intrigued hint noticeable in the boy’s voice. Following that the boy introduced himself and added himself some company, it being a clone. The possibilities of what kind of clone this was were endless, Arashi knew that perfectly well as he had seen his fair share of clone techniques in his rather long life. Amusingly the old had apparently had the same thought of using a clone technique, one of the infinite possibilities there were.

Tetsu’s clone had approached a fair bit when he launched the large fireball coming from a Katon affinity of his chakra, perhaps this was an indication that the boy had a certain kind of blood flowing through his veins. Not that it matter to the retired Shinobi, but he would have kept his cool if the fireball did not exhaust such heat. As the fireball had come close enough to still grant a fair deal of time to escape the vicinity of it, but already was close enough to properly the line of view of the clone and of the real Tetsu, two clones of Arashi appeared by his side. Since the clone Tetsu had changed his line of view he would have been able to see the three Arashi’s if the fireball had not by then already become enough of a hindrance to his line of sight. Eventually the clone Tetsu only saw the left Arashi clone become engulfed by the flames and eliminated once the fireball connected with it. Though at that point the right clone Arashi had already circled around the fireball on the right side, using the heated up air behind the fireball as a bit of a veiling technique due to the characteristics of the hot air distorting sight rather easily, so whether the clone was able to see the still existing clone Arashi properly or perhaps was tricked by the heated air was the question. The clone Arashi, however, quickly made his way towards the real Tetsu by pushing himself forward on his left foot and using his cane in his right hand to push himself forward in a more or less snake like wave of motion. Nonetheless this movement was quite on the quick side due to the old man’s left leg being in perfectly well shape and his upper body just as much and luckily his walking cane is rather sturdy. Once close enough the clone Arashi would stop suddenly, forcing his cane into the ground, then putting both his hands on it would apparently shift his point of gravity onto it, using the momentum of his approach to propel himself around this new point of gravity, using the resulting force to fuel the kick of his left leg which, if it was to hit, would simply phase through the actual Tetsu, for the clone was no more than an illusion.

There was still one question remaining. What had the real Arashi (lul see wat I did thar?) done to avoid the large fireball. Funny enough, the old man had torpedoed himself into the air by much the same way the clone Arashi move towards the actual Tetsu. Doing a front flip the old man used his momentum to catapult himself towards the clone Tetsu and he could do so quite quickly as well. Perhaps at the moment the clone Tetsu would be able to see clone Arashi head towards the actual Tetsu, the real Arashi was already very close to the fake Tetsu and intended to bring his walking cane down on the clone Tetsu, naturally protecting his upper body with his left arm while the right arm firmly grasped the walking cane, the tip of it pointing aimed for the target which was the torso of the clone Tetsu, to be more specific it was roughly the heart area which the real Arashi was going for.

(Calling a hit...)

The clone had let loose a large fireball directly towards Arashi, sure it blocked Tetsu view of him but this was of no matter, Tetsu planned on letting his clone do most of the work anyway and in the event's that would unfold, this clone was all that Tetsu was going to need. Unfortunately, Tetsu didn't have any skill in sensing nor did he have any kind of doujutsu that would allow him to see chakra flow and at this point, Tetsu could only see his own clone standing to the right of the freshly made fireball, blazing in all of it's heated glory, watching Arashi make his move. The clone could see Arashi form the images and knew he had created the clones, however, Tetsu himself had his vision blocked by the fireball so he had no real way of telling what Arashi had done. Though it wasn't long before he saw "an" Arashi running towards him from the left side of the fireball (Arashi's right) however, Tetsu saw that his clone was still focusing on what was happening behind the fireball so this led Tetsu to believe something else was happening with this. That first hand seal could have formed a clone or cast some sort of genjutsu, the real Tetsu wasn't sure but he was ready for an attack none-the-less. As the clone Arashi thrust it's foot forward in an attempt to strike Tetsu, Tetsu simply through up his hand intending to catch the foot that had been thrust forward. Tetsu didn't expect for this to be a straight bluff however as the clone just passed directly through Tetsu as if it weren't even there. It was merely an image with no physical properties whatsoever. Was Arashi trying to troll him? Was he cocky or was he being serious and this is the best he can do? Either way, once the clone passed through Tetsu had no worries about the thing and watched as a body leaped high above the fireball, followed by some fancy flip for momentum towards the clone, which was then accompanied by a cane being thrust forward by the real Arashi. As the cane struck the clone in what would be the heart area, the real Tetsu let out a slight smirk as the clone's real nature was released. This was no ordinary clone, it was a clone of explosive nature. The real name of the technique was the Clone Great Explosion. It much acts as a shadow clone decoy only with a little catch. It explodes! As the cane thrust itself into the clone, the clone itself detonated. Arashi was far too close to clone, as he had just struck the clone with his cane, to avoid an explosion of this manner. The cane itself was blown to bits as was Arashi's arm that he used to wield the cane, and the other arm he had used to shield his body. The other portions of his body took significant damage as he was far to close for anything to not happen. His torso, though protected by his arm, would partake in some serious burns as well as his face and legs. The impact of the explosion would blow him backward several meters, he was lucky that the fireball had dissipated by this point or he probably have flown directly into it. Sure someone could live from something such as this, though with his age and apparent body condition, chances are Arashi was dead or would die very shortly. Regardless of whether he lived or not, the man would no longer be in any condition for further battle at all. Tetsu was somewhat disappointed at the outcome of this fight. It was too brief for his liking and the old man had lead him on too much. It seemed as though he had aged a bit too much for a fight like this. Maybe in his prime he would have been able to handle it, but as things were now, it was already over.

Tetsu: Still = 380
