Staring down at what should have been the ground, Kiseichu could only see concrete and wood. A mess of apartments and the broken corpses of other buildings pressed together in some unholy attempt to create a large building from their remains. The Mizukage's Mansion, in other words. Perched upon the top of the unorthodox mess, Kiseichu was staring down to the wooden boards of what appeared to be a small rancher jutting out of the side of the blob of housing. That was the room he had selected for his bedding when he had first came to this land. Comfortable willow planks crafted together into a den, it's single window staring out to the ocean. It was rare he actually had a chance to use this room. Sleep wouldn't come to him when he could afford it. Just another annoyance that he had to deal with.

How was he supposed to sleep in the first place? Placed in the tomb that the elders of this village made for the purpose of watching him? He wouldn't let them take advantage of his bodily functions like that. He couldn't let them. Everybody would know he was in there during the night. Anybody could have taken the smallest bit of trouble to walk into his house and do what they pleased. It was something he needed to fix with a seal or two... Maybe. Right now he just wanted to rest. To not focus on the worldly troubles that plagued him. To not worry about dying. To not have to cry about being forced to kill his own student.

Eyelids were closed tightly. Thinking wasn't something he needed right now. He was above all of that, sitting on the tip of his mansion. Smooth concrete was below him, he could feel it through the silk that covered him. It was hard, uncomfortable. His butt was starting to go numb from sitting on it. But it was safer here, way up above the ground and the tops of other buildings. He could see them if he wanted, look down at all the people below him and think about them and their problems instead. He was much more content staring at the ring of concrete that went around the edge of the circular roof that made his floor. Staring through his closed eyelids.

It was nice concrete. Hard and Cold and Dead.

Feeling numb is comforting. Sometimes.

Those guards were fun to just intimidate for fun's sake, but it was about time he got to the destination in question, or rather the target; the Mizukage himself. This was in no way a hostile venture, but it was one of urgency, so it wasn't the most calm and slow of processes. The building regarded as the Mizukage's Mansion was a shamble of a place, looked to be thrown together with a loose hammer and nail and was mistaken as a home. It was something the Uzumaki found weird, but he was told the village leader was situated at the top, and no one would attempt an ambush here considering it looked like a strong breeze could bring it down. He knew his genin were close-behind him, as was the plan, but he did indeed wonder who would be content with such a shabby home. Even ignoring the state of the place, the mansion was just gloom-filled and tainted with a loneliness, 'I wonder what type of person this Mizukage is. In honesty it seems like he or she is in need of a friend more than just an ally.' It just came to mind that Rai once again had nothing notifying his village, so he pulled out the scroll with the Treaty once more to avoid any misunderstandings.

Floor by floor the group finally made it to the top. Rai had done a lot of running today, and it was evident, as a sheen of sweat glistened on his forehead, just before he wiped it away with his arm. From there he first looked at the door behind which he was expecting to find their target. Before knocking, he turned to face his younger companions. "Well. Do your best to either be behaved, or just like-able and issues shouldn't arise, hehe. If you can't do either of those things, then just try to have fun with it. I know I always do!" He gave them a reassuring wink then rattled his fist against the door, before just opening it and walking in; sometimes true manners just didn't seem to clue in with Rai. The first step in and the door let out a nice loud creak to sound in the room. Even if he intended stealth, his plan would have been ruined outright. "Excuse me, Mizukage? I'm here for the alliance treaty with Kumo? You gonna get off your butt and talk to us?"

In honesty Rai had no idea that the Mizukage was resting, or even had him in his sites yet. It was just part of his personality to be a bit blunt and fun with his actions, and his way of going about things didn't change when dealing with someone deemed "important". He noticed the floor was hard concrete, but what he was really drawn to once he got his first look was that lone window that ominously looked as if it hung on the wall, like a painting rather than the real world going on about. The place felt vacant, like the rest of the building. Why? "Damn, this place needs like... Something alive in it. It's just too gloomy, like anything in here died a bit ago."

Just the slightest pinprick in his mind. A sort of feeling as though you had just cracked your knuckles. It reverberated through him. The urge to open his eyes was overwhelming. Though they remained closed. This didn't matter very much. Of course it matters extremely so. Kiseichu just didn't care. Or that was what he told himself in an effort to keep himself relaxed. A party had entered his home. That was the dangers of not locking his door. The very idea that somebody would enter the front door though was so comical and unexpected though. Why would he lock something that it would be a fool's errant to enter? If anybody wished to kill him, they would at least attempt to be sneaky about it. Unless this was some reverse psychology attempt to catch him off guard- No. He wouldn't think about that. Thinking wasn't something he wanted to do anymore. Just to sleep while being awake. It could be done if he tried hard enough.

Eyelids fluttered open, a single eyelash breaking, getting caught in the liquid white of the eye. More annoyance. Kiseichu blinked a few times, trying to remove the problem without giving it any real attention. It didn't deserve more than a moments notice. Definitely not the satisfaction it would receive from his frustration. Footsteps were nearing him, fourth floor already. This was the last thing he needed. Thinking about things that already took place was disappointing, and thinking about the future was half pointless. The present was just an awkward attempt to be both, with the negatives of both glaring in his face.

The door opened. He preemptively tensed himself. He was afraid. Is this okay?

"Excuse me, Mizukage? I'm here for the alliance treaty with Kumo? You gonna get off your butt and talk to us?"

His shoulders released their tension. There was probably not much danger. Not threatening. Just a pain to deal with. This man felt like a Jack. The only problem was the suit. That could be found out later though. Probably it would end up being obvious. Hopefully. There was still the need to respond though. If he waited too long he'd end up making the situation awkward and tensed. Talking to people was difficult and not very fun.

Kiseichu stood up, several joints cracking as he stood. Pins and needles danced up his thighs and butt. White silk that had been sticking to skin released, pressure being removed. A red scarf wrapped itself around the man's waist as if it were a belt - The sign for water being embroidered on the front. A similar strip of red silk was around his neck, bundled up and wrapped around to hide his neck from view, along with nose and mouth. It was very warm and nice. Silk was something he appreciated. Comfortable.

"Damn, this place needs like... Something alive in it. It's just too gloomy, like anything in here died a bit ago."

"..."

He turned around to face the others.

"..."

Say something you idiot.

"Why." Green eyes narrowed. His gaze became harsh. Kisei's voice was unusually deep for his girly appearance. It boomed through the air like a bass. "Why hasn't my envoy returned with you." This was wrong. Very wrong. "The Raikage is not present. Why is this." Kisei stood up taller. As tall as his shortness would allow. Hatred radiated off of his expressions and words. Body language was powerful. Context clues were as well. The Hoshigaki should have returned and alerted him to foreign shinobi being in his village. He should have sent somebody more capable. Just another death to worry about.

Mouse had decided to forgo the missions office and take her complaints to the kage about the strange missions she had been recieving. Donating kidneys was not something Mouse agreed with... but the timid creature also had a difficult time mustering up the courage to storm in. Mouse was in a lobby elsewhere in the building. Well... maybe she should take a peak into the kage's office... The veins on her face rised to the surface. The Byakugan. With her 150 meters of sight she easily pierced the walls of the building and looked into the nexus of social activity that was the Kage's office. Except he wasn't alone. This wasn't so odd that he wasn't alone... but it was odd who his guest was. Mouse noted that this person was a shinobi from another country... and with him he had brought two people also with him. Mouse couldn't helped to be concerned at this point. Was this an ambush? Mouse didn't know the purpose of the ninja for being here, but she was a Kunoichi... and it was her job to be paranoid. Putting the scared Mouse aside, she became the huntress Mouse. Her hands formed a string of handseals - Transparrent Escape technique. Her form would vanish.

With the upmost of skill available to a specialist in sensory, she did her best to hide her presence. She moved through the halls - making sure not to bump into anyone or any objects that may have happened to be along the path. As the shinobi who had just so brazenly marched to the roof had forgotten to close the door, Mouse would easily sneak by the two genin and out through the open door - sliding easily through its precipice without accidently revealing herself by her entry through the unattended doorway. Once in the room, she moved to a location where in she would not be visible through an accidental glance through the foreign shinobi's periphial vision. Her presence was still hidden. The Kage would not even be able to see her, though he was facing her. She was still behind the foreign ninja. She wasn't exuding a hostile presence, she wasn't exuding a presence at all. No sound - she was void of any particularly strong scent and besides, the draft of the open door caused that the air flow would more likely carry her scent out the door than towards the foreigner for an accidental sniff. With Her byakugan she was aware of the actions of the two outside the door also, though she made sure to be equally aware of them as she was of the ninja in the room with the kage.

Mouse was ready. She had a hand on her wrist to unseal her weaponry, but there was no aura of hatred or hostility from her. It wasn't that she wasn't willing to hurt someone; to her it was just business.

Seigi followed Rai through the village and into the rundown mansion. Staring up at it, it honestly looked like it could be haunted and Seigi wouldn't doubt it if it actually was. Keeping close to to back of the group, Seigi placed his hands on the back oh his neck again. His backpack was killing him. He probably shouldn't have packed so many non-essential items, but this was a learning experience and added weight would help with training! He grinned, walking through the entrance of the Mizukage's mansion. It was about as dreary inside as it was outside. Seigi only brushed it off though. Maybe this was how the Mizukage liked it? To each their own, right?

He then began to observe Rai and Hikari. Seigi could instantly tell that Hikari was a taijutsu user. The way she didn't wear any kind of protective footwear, had very fluid clothing, even her step and arm swing gave it away. But what didn't make sense to Seigi is why she didn't have callouses or bruises. No sign of wear and tear anywhere. Even from walking so much barefoot, her feet seemed just fine. Seigi snapped out of it. It was rude for him to observe fellow Kumogakure shinobi in such a way. He was sure that whatever abilities she had, she would demonstrate in the near future. She was his team mate, not an enemy. He had a bit habit of over observing and worrying about things that he shouldn't. Sighing, he broke his line of site and began looking at the mansion again. With every step almost, he could hear a creak. It felt like this place could go down at any moment.

Continuing upwards into the mansion, they reached what he presumed was the Mizukage's room.

"Well. Do your best to either be behaved, or just like-able and issues shouldn't arise, hehe. If you can't do either of those things, then just try to have fun with it. I know I always do!" He then watched Rai enter the room. Seigi paused a moment, standing outside, unsure if he should come in. But, Rai did leave the door open. He gave an unsure look at Hikari, before shrugging, then walking into the room.

"....is not present. Why is this." Was all Seigi heard as he walked into the room. He thought about backing out, but then saw the Mizukage. He didn't look much older than Seigi, but at the same time, he had an aura about him that seemed like he had been through much more than anyone else in the room combined. He stood menacingly, obviously mad about something. Seigi walked past Rai, by about a foot. "I apologize for interrupting, Mr. Mizukage, but we don't mean to be rude or fight, honest."

"My name is Seigi Ikazuchi, from Kumogakure. This is my Sensei." He then slowly raised his arm out in front of him, about stomach level. Even though the Mizukage was upset about something, Seigi felt it would only be right to introduce himself, as crazy as a thought that might be.

The air was crisp as the large moon hovered high up in the air in beautiful crescent shape. The stars glistened brightly as their weren't many clouds either. Tetsu Kokku was on his way home after a long day and was just ready to get to bed himself when he happened to walk by the Mizukage's mansion as a few unknown ninja entered into the mansion. They just walked right in like it was their own place and Tetsu deemed this to be an odd disturbance. "Surely no one is foolish enough to sneak right into the Mizukage's front door like that..." Feeling a bit concerned for the village's leader, he began to approach the building. It was indeed a dreary place but that was how it had always been, no one was really sure as to why it was like that it just always was. Maybe it was a kage's preference? Or maybe they just didn't have the time to make it more... "Homey". Either way, Tetsu approached the building, "Good lord..." Tetsu whispered as he sighed, the door was left wide open. He hadn't heard anything serious yet, maybe they weren't trying anything? But then again, maybe they were just really that stealthful.. He felt a bit uneasy entering the Mizukage's mansion uninvited like this but he was concerned for the well being of his leader. He was more than capable of handling himself in a scrap but it never hurts to have some of your subordinates there for some aid in case things get a little out of hand.

Tetsu took a small breathe as he entered the front doors of the mansion, he snuck inside without making a sound, though he didn't really care if he did at this point. He wasn't trying to be "sneaky" he was just trying to make sure no funny business is goin' on around here. He climbed the steps slowly as he came to the top floor. He made his way down a narrow hallway where the body of a person was standing. Still and silent. It seemed as though a couple people had already entered the room. They all made it up here awful quickly.. Tetsu approached the being that was still standing in the hallway, he could hear voices coming out of the room but they were too faint for him to make out any of the words that were being said between the people in there. "Might I ask your name and why you are all here in the Mizukage's mansion?" Tetsu spoke with a somewhat deep yet soft voice. He wanted them to know he was serious, but not an ass hole. He then waited for an answer from the member of the group that was still standing out in the hallway. Though he wasn't trying to be stealthy or hidden, Tetsu kept his hood up and over his head, casting a shadow over his face preventing anyone from seeing.

"Why."The question was rather interesting. It was clearly not a welcoming one, the Kage's gaze hard and stern, and narrow eyes giving evidence to somedisappointment, and maybe even outrage. In honesty Rai cared a little less about the man ahead, and more about what was behind. He wasn't saying anything yet, allowing the opponent the illusion of a step ahead was a part of stealth that most tend to forget. Not just hiding from your opponent, but being able to keep from blowing a situation when an opponent could have a knife to your back. "Why hasn't my envoy returned with you."The bass and thickness in the voice was actually quite interesting; it was disproportionate to the body so Rai couldn't help but let loose a smile to keep from letting out a chuckle. One thing was off though, and the Uzumaki was actually surprised the Kage was unaware, 'He must not know about the Raikage being MIA. So much for leaders always being the best informed.'"The Raikage is not present. Why is this." Rai was ready to speak a bit in response but then remembered the scroll in his hand. Just having him read this would suffice, it explained the whole situation about the Raikage's disappearance and how Rai's squad was dispatched for damage control and continuing the treaty. Before he had the chance, though, his knucklehead Genin spoke up after brushing past him. The Tokujou didn't overly care about about Seigi speaking up, but in his actions he could have bumped whoever wasdisguising their presence.

"I apologize for interrupting, Mr. Mizukage, we don't mean to be rude or fight, honest. My name is Seigi Ikazuchi, from Kumogakure. This is my Sensei." In honesty Rai had never though of himself as a true Sensei, nor did he think his comradery with his Genin team to be permanent. Though, it would make sense that there was some sort of scheme to get him back working with a unit. Either way, there was one thing that was very good about what Seigi did by coming forward; on his head he proudly wore his Kumogakure headband, it allowed validity with their words. Just when Rai thought he could put the hostile assumptions to rest, just one more had to join the party before he could have his turn. He didn't know the man but he made himself pretty clear to be a Mist-nin with his words.

"Might I ask your name and why you're all here in the Mizukage's mansion?"
Rai turned to look behind him just for a moment, but didn't hold his gaze, but rather steadily brought his sights back around to face the Mizukage.

"You'll know what we're doing here soon enough, friend. Once your Mizukage reads this." Rai held the scroll in his hand, simply unrolling it, then holding it on either end. "The original mission was botched when the Raikage went missing, so we were sent to pick up the slack. We didn't see an envoy, we kinda just showed up and walked right in to not waste time. It's all here if you wanna read, or you can go back to being all angry when were here because you wanted to form a damn treaty. And tell your guard dog that's hiding to stand down, I'm not here to fight Kiri. If I wanted I could have made sure they were dead before making it up here, but I didn't, and even now as I'm admitting to their presence I'm not moving a muscle to act. By the way, you might want to advise to them that techniques that don't hide sound are poor for sneaking in a building with creaky stairs, I could hear them all the way up, and I know they aren't that heavy either, likely a bit shorter than me? For me being so kind to visit you personally and not dealing with just anyone about the current plans, I expect to at least be given courtesy to not have to look over my back in a land that claims for an alliance!" This was a rather delicate situation, but mutual outrage was the only way to do it. First because it's insulting that the Kage tried to have a secret guard when they left things out in the open, and and further Rai was just someone who expressed his heated emotions.

"I'm not here to kill anyone... But I will not let death come to the Genin in my company so if you really want to fight, I can drop this paper, and corpses can be made before it hits the ground." This was a bit over the top, but Rai had ahalf-decent finish, as his own face lead to a kind, innocent smile. "But there's no point in anyone dying when we can all walk out of this with a smile."

"I apologize for interrupting, Mr. Mizukage, we don't mean to be rude or fight, honest. My name is Seigi Ikazuchi, from Kumogakure. This is my Sensei." -

A few seconds of silence between words. This was becoming even more uncomfortable. Too many people were in his home. Another one had just entered. Why was this happening to him? Another just entered. Probably more to come. The air just became more stale with each entrance. He should really put a plant or two in here. It'd freshen things up. Probably. As long as they didn't die on him. Then it'd be worse to smell and breathe. Assistants or creative use of seals could help that though. He'd have to think about it later. Maybe now just to stop being uncomfortable. That would be nice in a tense situation like this. But this child was nice. What he stated was already known and completely unnecessary, but nice to hear. Hearing things you already know can be assuring. Especially when it's assuring safety and peace. Also very polite. Still not important enough to be remembered, but a pleasantry with the demeanor of his elder. Maybe he'd remember the kid if it came to his attention again. Right now it wasn't to be bothered. His eyes almost returned from their glare.

"Might I ask your name and why you're all here in the Mizukage's mansion?"

Kokku was here. It took him long enough to get up the stairs. This was nice though. The Clouds would now be surrounded in this dreary little room. This wasn't needed, just a fail safe. They wouldn't be in such a position that they could expect to have any traction with threats or agression.

"You'll know what we're doing here soon enough, friend. Once your Mizukage reads this." The scroll was held out in front of him, stretched out to reveal it's contents."The original mission was botched when the Raikage went missing, so we were sent to pick up the slack. We didn't see an envoy, we kinda just showed up and walked right in to not waste time. It's all here if you wanna read, or you can go back to being all angry when were here because you wanted to form a damn treaty. And tell your guard dog that's hiding to stand down, I'm not here to fight Kiri. If I wanted I could have made sure they were dead before making it up here-" Nothing more needed to be said. Kiseichu interrupted the child here. "I would recommend you don't test my patience.

He overestimated this man. Not a Jack. More of an eight. Eight or ten of hearts. Probably eight of hearts. Annoying number with an annoying suit. Not something he wanted to deal with. The greens of his eyes narrowed further in annoyance. The amount of disrespect this man was showing Kisei in his own house. Uncomprehendable. Did this Cloud forget who he was talking to? "You can not expect to be trusted the moment you enter our country. You are here on the intent of an alliance, but do not mistake the amount of hospitality we will show you." He scowled under the scarf covering his lower face. More complications. "Should you threaten the people of Kirigakure again, you will end." He was taking a risk here. Letting a threat like that go over his head wasn't something he wanted to do. But he'd rather not mess up diplomatic relations more than they already have been. He just hoped that his hand wouldn't be forced.

"Leave the scroll here and I shall read over it in the course of several days." He sighed, a bit of that hatred in his tone escaping out into the air. Just exhaustion now. His hand reached down to his belt, reaching around the inside of it until it returned with four pieces of red silk, the symbol for Kirigakure sewn into the center of each. His hand was extended with the fabric. "Take these and wear them pinned in an easily noticeable location. At all times. They'll signify your status as a welcome foreign shinobi. As well as entitle you to board and room, as well as other goods." He just wanted them out of his face. Hopefully this promise of free living space and food would be enough to get them out of his face. "Wear them on your person at all times. Show respect to our village and you will be able to enjoy your stay." This was stated more of a warning than a suggestion. It was obvious what would happen if they didn't take heed to his advice.

What was said wasn't so much a concern for Mouse. She was just here for insurance sake. With her Byakugan, the movement of the genin was easily seen. She tip toed out of the way, making sure to step as lightly and silently as was possible given her mundane level of skill, that being sensory specialty. The genin would not accidently bump into her. She avoided contact with him. She didn't have anything to add to the conversation, and her sudden appearance would no doubt make things uncomfortable for the whole group. Mouse also insured that the suddenly arriving Tetsu woudl not run into her either. She stayed out of everyone's way now. She was no longer directly behind Rai, and was in a more tactical position for avoiding people, that being some 5 meters to the right of the door. Thus she remained quiet. Silent. Hidden. Her hand was still upon her wrist seal, read and waiting should anything go sour.

Through the whole encounter, through all the speak she had been very quiet. She hadn't introduced herself, she didn't make any unnecessary movements, and she sure as hell didn't stare too long at the Mizukage who was curt with his words in her opinion. This was fully out of character for Hikari as she stood on the left side of her Sensei. The room was getting awfully crowded and behind that mask was a small smile of utter sweetness. Ignoring the voice asking what they were doing here, Hikari looked over at her Sensei as he answered the question. After the Mizukage said his piece the group was given pins that showed their status as foreign ninja. Hikari took one and pinned it on near her left breast and in the end she thought less of the Mizukage. Keeping her straight face she waited for them to leave so she could go about her business.

Seigi could tell that his words helped ease the situation, if but for a moment. But the Mizukage quickly changed his attention back to Rai, still seeming upset, but revealing cloth with the Kirigakure symbol on them. Right after Rice took one, he took one as well. Things were looking up. For the moment. Sighing, he pinned the cloth to his jacket, making sure it wouldn't fall off, then bringing his attention back to the situation at hand. If Rai just got them out of there for the moment, he felt like everything would calm down and be at ease. Hopefully, that was the course that he would take. Seigi was in no way ready to fight the Mizukage AND another shinobi. He wasn't even aware of the other shinobi, hidden in the room until Rai said something about it. He stepped behind Rai, next to the door, making sure to keep clear of the other ninja. He didn't seem mean, but he didn't seem nice either and Seigi wasn't here to make enemies.

Tetsu had entered into the room quite calmly, he didn't want to draw too much attention to himself but also wanted his presence to be known, if they were to try anything, anything at all, he would jump at the chance to protect the Mizukage. After having entered the room, he leaned his back against the wall just next to the door he entered through, behind the other shinobi that were already in the room, he was very calm and chill in this moment in time. Though this moment seemed to go on forever. The air was tense and he could feel the hostility as if it were a physical object. If they are here for peace, why was he feeling such discomfort? Perhaps it was the choice of words that these shinobi chose to use, or atleast, the leader of the group. The other seemed kind, Tetsu seemed to get an idea that the kid wasn't looking for a fight, this however did not allow him to lower his guard. He stayed leaning against the wall, trying to give a lax appearance yet refusing to lower his guard. He was prepared for anything, he hoped nothing would happen in this search for peace with a foreign country and that all would go well, but why is the air so tense? Alternate motives maybe? Tetsu was unsure, all he knew was that three shinobi from another village had entered the Mizukage's home in the middle of the night as if it were their own. So of course he kept his guard up. "Mizukage-dono, I apologize for entering your home like this, I was concerned when I saw them enter and wanted to make sure nothing was going to happen." The air was still tense and Tetsu was sure that what he had said wasn't going to help that cause but it was surely something needing to be said. And any bodies that would be hitting the floor wouldn't be any Kirigakure shinobi... This was merely a thought of his that would have come out of his lips had he not caught himself when he did. He didn't need anymore tension and that surely wouldn't have made things any better. Though anyone with any kind of skill in reading people, it would have been obvious to that person what his thoughts were. Body movements, expressions, tone of voice, it's these things that give away a person. Tetsu normally tries to mask his true intentions with a tone or expression of some sort and he was quite good at it, however this time, he wanted them to read him, to know he wasn't there to play games. He was quite upset at the fact that he was even there. He was ready to go to bed but he wouldn't be able to sleep soundly at night if he knew he had just left the Mizukage in a dangerous situation. Not that he couldn't handle himself, it just wouldn't be right for Tetsu to do that. He continued leaning slightly against the wall as he waited for the next move of the foreign shinobi, it wouldn't take much for them to pop off with something and set Tetsu off. He was already agitated with the previous words that the ninja had chosen and wouldn't allow any further disrespect towards the Mizukage. If Tetsu were to go to there village to speak to their Raikage, he would surely speak just as much respect to the Raikage as he would the Mizukage. They were setting a very poor first impression for this "peace treaty".

Kisei sighed and shook his head, setting the fabric down. This was taking much too much of his time. And spotting the young girl in the corner there was another in his house... Too many. Too many people in here. It was stuffy and uncomfortable and he wanted to leave. Surely he couldn't just leave though when talking to these people... Right?

He took his chances, throwing himself backwards and leaping through the plate glass window behind him. It split from his force, turning to shards as Kisei's form exploded out into the open air. Using chakra to coat his hands, he would catch the edge of the windowcill and use that to climb his way down the building. He didn't need to explain himself. He just left. Nobody would ask questions.

Well... it seemed as though everything here was just about settled. Mouse wasn't really needed afterall it seemed, and the Kage had jumped out the window for some reason. Whatever. Mouse decided to follow suit. Mouse wasn't sure whether they were still on a roof or in a room based on the descriptions of others... so she decided to to jump out the window also. She avoided everyone on her way to the window and hopped on out. blip. There she went. Now outside and ground level of the building she released her jutsu and her doujutsu and went about her merry way. Certainly diplomacy could have been done better but Mouse wasn't a diplomat. She was a soldier.

Tetsu didn't seem very satisfied with the way these things were going. He didn't like these guys, they had way too much attitude and his body actions and expressions made that very clear. Something must have come across the Mizukage's mind for it wasn't long before a window had been shattered and Mizukage was on his way out of the mansion. Perhaps he had some work to attend to? Or perhaps he felt as though something were going to happen and he wanted to get out of there before anything did happen, either way, Tetsu would shortly follow suit. He leaned back forward taking himself off the wall and turned his body slightly to the side. " 'Twas a pleasure." He spoke with a bit of sarcasm. He then started to make his way out the door and down the stairs. He wasn't about to make a flashy exit as the others had done. He was simply going to walk out for that is all that was needed. Though he felt a bit uncomfortable about leaving the strangers in the Mizukage's home but it didn't seem to concern the Mizukage himself so Tetsu wouldn't let it bother him either. He made his way out the front door and back towards his home so he could get some sleep. It was growing late and he had to get up in the morning.

Seigi didn't like where this was going. He didn't want to be seen as a threat to the Mizukage, and judging by his tone of voice and his dramatic exit, that's exactly where the group was heading. As the two other ninja exited, he decided he too, had overstayed his welcome. He gave a look to Rai, figuring he'd better exit before him. He'd hate to be the last person left in this room. It just... didn't feel right. He made a quick turn around and went through the door. Shoving his hands in his pockets, he made his way down the stairs and through the corridors, out, back into the open. With the town not too far away, he made his way toward it, hoping to get some good food.

[Just gonna casually slum-dog in ;3]

"The Mizukage Requests your Presence," read the official notice from the Administration. Akuharu frowned slightly as the Mist Owl that had transported the message to him, flew off again, winging its way back towards the treat that awaited it in the Owlery Tower. Akuharu rubbed his chin musingly as he considered the issue before him. The Mizukage himself had not requested his presence personally, he'd merely been selected out of a pool of Shinobi to come and represent Kirigakure in front of the Kumogakure delegation that had arrived. According to the correspondence anyway. Stretching, Akuharu stood from his prone position on the cold concrete floor, the vast unforgiving mass having sucked all of the warm from his body - he took his time rising up. Of all days for this to happen, it made Akuharu assign even more belief into the universal rule of Murphy's Law. He frowned in the vauge direction of the Mizukage's residence, disliking the timing of the request. If looks could kill, there would be a large create resting in the middle of Kirigakure- the screams of millions pouring outwards like the unhappy chorus of the River Styx's pathway. The smoke might even do as part of the symbolism as well.

Flicking his book shut, Akuharu slowly made his way out of the book-hedge that comprised his living room. Or at least, most of it anyway. The coffee station remained dutifully clear of all obstructions that might hinder the person who wanted to create some of the ambrosia that restored clarity of the mind and vitality of the senses. Pouring a sizable amount of the instant-mixture into a mug that had on occasion being jokingly benefited with the title of 'tankard' (more of which was true then the owner of the mentioned article would readily admit with his full mental capacities) Akuharu promptly poured both hot water and milk into the container at the same time- jammed the lid on top of the carton and the took off- opening his window to the outside world.

To begin with, he oriented himself as he lay against the building, his knees bent- feet sticking to the concrete at a right angle extending from the rear of his heel. Extending both of his legs to his full extent, Akuharu leapt away from the building moving downwards towards the lower levels. Absorbing the impact by rolling, he continued to shed his kinetic energy as he made his way downwards before departing from the entirety of the apartment block and began to make his way across the high-rise section of Kirigakure Proper. A little word of thanks was born on his lips as Akuharu made the haphazard journey across the line of buildings that would bring him relatively swiftly on top of the Mizukage building. Entering through the roof, Akuharu would fail to see the broken window due to entering from the opposite side and miss the opportunity to gain a substantial amount of blackmail on his enigmatic leader. Some other day, no?

Entering into the room, Akuharu immediately noted several things of an odd nature in the situation - but either to his credit or idiocy, did not instantly react to them. He doubted the Mizukage would have allowed foreign shinobi to casually break his own window after all, and if he did then that was a rather pointless banner to begin waving around. "I was informed that you had one more amongst your number," he addressed the gathered Kumogakure Shinobi pleasantly. "are they somewhere else in the house or departed for greener grass already?" Finally having the opportunity to take a long sip from his coffee mug, Akuharu would take the time to allow them to address him while also occupying himself so as to give them time to compose a response without it seeming rude. He had entered relatively suddenly after all, although he expected that they might have anticipated his arrival- but perhaps not in the form it was. "Administration has informed me that I'm to be your guide for the duration of your stay, or am rendered indisposed." Cheery thought that. Should he give out his name? Hrm. Perhaps not just yet. Surname would do. "You may call me Sabyuki - attach whatever suffix you feel comfortable with." He now awaited their pleasure, being careful all the while to watch for any overtly offensive movements and make preparations to dodge them if needed.

Rai just stood there, waiting, not moving a muscle. The only thing he had done since the Mizukage handed him the pin was clench it tightly, hands almost shaking. The Uzumaki was angry at himself for losing his temper, but that wasn't the reason his rage felt so fermented and pungent in the room. It wasn't the reason the tension was built up so high, why he was ready to tear the building down, one loose plank at a time to send a message. The shinobi world was militaristic; that's how it always worked, no exceptions. If there was any form of allied alliance, treaty, or simple pause in combat for a meeting between two leaders, it was never on ground where one had advantage over the other. For some reason though, Kumogakure was content to terms of this nature, and even cared about it so much that a recovery party was also sent just to make sure Kiri was not angered by the absence. How much effort The Hidden Cloud went to just for The Hidden Mist to accept their agreement, and upon arrival they have been viewed as hostile. Were their methods different from the norm? Yes, but they did let the village know of their arrival from the very beginning, there was never once a situation where stealth was employed or intended. Upon walking through the door, they knocked after they were given information on the Mizukage's location but just looked at with anger and weapons in their village. Rai's words were only ones to keep the leader in check while he had the Genin around. They were in their village, how was the Uzumaki and the two young ones suppose to even hold ground if they just let the Mizukage treat them how he saw fit. Their hospitality was being tested? No, their incite was being criticized, and their hand of false-freindships was being all-but slapped away as far as Rai was concerned.

His hands kept shaking, as the other Mist-Nin spoke, only a cruel smirk seemed to shape on his face whether he could help it or not. The fool had no idea, he thought his presence would further protect the Hokage, but it seemed he really underestimated the Kumo Tokujou in every aspect. Just as he was trying to intend before being interrupted, the young man attempted to give light on how dangerous he was to be an enemy though they wouldn't listen. Even after the ninja behind him finished it was so hilarious he almost broke out with a dark, maddening laugh. Rai was actually more often about being happy and making bonds, but anyone who's presence threatened what he deemed as precious, he is able to end without blinking an eye or a second of hesitation, 'I have two things worth killing for in this very moment, and I will not let those lights be blot out, if my soul would even be condemned in the process.' And another very important thing was any surrounding Kiri shinobi would be crippled by the fact that Rai was the closest person in the room to their Kage. Whether they realized it or not, if he attacked the leader, he might get attacked, but it was more likely that someone would try and sacrifice their well-being to ensure the man's miserable survival. The illusion of dominance was brilliant though, it allowed people to believe lies about their own capabilities and be caught unawares as they are shown the opposite. Would Rai attack the man he stared at though? No, not if it wasn't needed, he didn't want to have to kill anyone, though they were stirring him up just the right way. Fools who can't understand the good faith of offering someone home advantage were clearly in no position to make alliances in the first place. Even if the village do come together, Rai knew in this moment that it didn't include him.

After he made up his mind about that, people started leaving the place, first the Mizukage who didn't even address anyone again before blasting through his own window and jumping out. Even that action annoyed Rai, he truly thought that his 'position' and words were enough to silence him, as though he were truly above him. The Uzumaki's fists kept clenching and unclenching as he tried to remember his mission. The other shinobi said something as well, but in honesty Rai didn't even care to register what was said. After that, Seigi left as well, after giving him a look but the Tokujou really had little confirmation or effort to understand in that area as well, as the thought of staying in Kiri by this point was just a joke to him. Hikari hadn't left yet but he had no idea why. It seemed few cared to stay in this room, he honestly wondered why he was still there, himself. Though before he could leave, someone had shown up behind him and began speaking; Rai lost his mood to talk with anyone native to this land, but at least this one didn't seem ready to attack because of his presence here, he actually seemed rather pleasant and intended to be helpful.

"I was informed that you had one more amongst your number, are they somewhere else in the house or departed for greener grass already?" Interesting question but it was obvious this person actually made himself aware of who entered the village and didn't initially think of his presence as an unprovoked threat. The person sipped from his cup as he paused from speaking, but Rai wasn't exactly sure how should respond; partial or complete honesty? "Administration has informed me that I'm to be your guide for the duration of your stay, or am rendered indisposed. You may call me Sabyuki - attach whatever suffix you feel comfortable with." Rai completely turned around to properly face the appointed guide. He had no distaste for him, probably felt like he could understand him if given the time and opportunity, though it was weird to think of it that way. On the sad note though, his anger was only slightly diffused at this point so his hard heart still wasn't going to let himself be overly friendly in this moment. He cleared his throat, then dropped the pin he held in his hand, all crumpled and misshapen from his earlier clenching.

"I'm sorry, but at this point I have no need for your hospitality. I have a Genin who left just a little before you came, he's likely in the village somewhere if you didn't catch him on your way up. My other Genin companion though, is probably tired and a little exhausted from the tension that had just transpired due to your Kage's hostility. I played my own part of hostility in return but that is not a problem anymore. I'm not staying in the village, I have no desire or responsibility to stay within the walls. I will wait outside the gate and I won't enter unless it is to reunite with my Genins for the return home or it is specifically about the treaty. It would be wise for someone to send word to the Raikage, if you care deeply for our planned village pact, but in honesty I'm tired of the place already. I do't mean to seem more hostile after all of this but just know I don't plan on harming anyone. I can just never see myself able to work with a place like this in the coming future." His words were chosen carefully, and even though there was evident strain to keep a level voice, he had made it through it without regret. He made a slight bow then walked past the man silently. He was about to walk down the stairs of the mansion but looked over his shoulder before continuing. "Thanks anyways, I really wish we could be friends. But I need to get out of here before I do something both of our villages will regret." From there he began walking down the stairs, hoping he wouldn't have to talk face to face with the Mizukage again.

This trip really took a turn for the worst.. Well not the worst, but it honestly could have gone a whole lot better. The whole time though Hikari just watched. She watched as the Mizukage left from his window in the most unneeded way, she watched as her teammate left, and through it all she had a rather out of character silence fall. For once she felt completely out of place and it left a bad taste in her mouth. Hikari waited for her Sensei before she herself began to depart, but before that another presence made himself known. She listened to the small talk between her Sensei and the male who just walked in. It seemed that he was to help them get along around the village should they need any. Hikari honestly didn't want to stay in Kiri any longer and silently sided with her Sensei. " If you can show me a decent place to eat, I'd be honored to have you as my Guide Sabyuki-Kun. Though you're Kage put me in a... Not so pleasant mood, I won't look at all Kiri nin as, well... Lets just get going shall we? Walking out of the Mizukage's office felt like pushing a mountain off of her back. The tension in that room could crush a few souls. Hikari was sure Sabyuki would follow and she for the second time since she walked into that building, spoke. " My name is Hikari by the way! her voice was as cheery as always even though she felt compelled to break a few faces.

Akuharu merely did his best not to blink in the face of this barrage of speach; evidently this discourse was being continued from a different point of reference. The articulation seemed to have been strained via a set of internal filters, each more rigorous and extreme 'til the last. The final production was a terribly calm, modulated eruption of anger.

Akuharu would have preferred it if he had shouted. Displayed some measure of emotion, this was infinitely more dangerous because it represented unknown potential for violence. Until he was beyond the limit of Akuharu's sensory prowess, he would not consider himself 'safe' from a minor or major retribution. The strain underlying the announcement only made the sound worse.

"Thanks anyways, I really wish we could be friends. But I need to get out of here before I do something both of our villages will regret." Akuharu did not speak, which might have comprised more of his saving grace then otherwise thought. So he merely nodded, and bowed his head in what he hoped was a passing facsimile of respect. But perhaps it was more to hide the frown that had blossomed over his face at the elder shinobi's words. Exactly what had transpired within the confines of the Mizukage's quarters? Well, he had the opportunity to discover it happily enough. The girl -who appeared to be approximately within his own age range- and must have been some endangered species they had brought along with them. She seemed exotic and at the same time reserved that her internal contradictions almost made Akuharu forget her physical appearance. Almost.

"I shall do my best to remedy any damage done Hikari-san, let us be away."
